OUTDOORS RETAILER RELAUNCH
Recently, Resonant worked with this independent UK online retailer as they wanted to 'shift up a gear' by pursuing a more 'outdoors lifestyle' brand and range positioning. This included working with existing agencies for the concurrent launch of a new website and new brand focused on premium brands from the USA and Northern Europe. In addition, the new audience profile necessitated identifying the implications for audience targeting, including social marketing, online advertising and minimising the SEO impact of platform migration.
GLOBAL CMS SELECTION
This sizeable and globally-located consumer durables company needed to bring 13+ separately coded, hosted and managed international websites onto a single scalable CMS (content management system) platform. With limited time in which to make an important and expensive investment, Andy's expertise was brought in to establish the requirements, deliver a credible vendor selection process and undertake assessment of the various software and hosting solutions. This covered capability, value, resilience, security and review of third-party service level agreements.
CYBERSECURITY FOR BUSINESS LEADERS
Cybersecurity is a priority subject for the Academy for Chief Executives, but it's a field in which it's hard to find programmes that can engage and motivate Directors working in non-digital sectors and that provide sufficient insight into the behavioural and regulatory aspects of cybersecurity. Resonant's understanding of business management and objectives is fundamental to the success of these workshops, blending facilitated exercises that identify actionable changes for each organisation with significant knowledge-building.
This well-established online outdoor gear retailer started to witness falling margins and increasing competition that seemed to be going only one way. Resonant helped them to develop a plan to move into 'prosumer' product ranges, improve their branding and put themselves at the heart of the outdoors community, partly through the building of an 'ambassador network' of outdoors professionals. This has resulted in improved margins, several industry awards and a much higher profile.
ARTISAN FOOD BRAND LAUNCH
This project involved brand and digital work as part of the launch of a new brand and product range into the artisan preserves market. For launch, Resonant built a robust ecommerce solution whilst also working on brand presentation and photography. The website provided a 'home' for the new brand, as well as a revenue-generating store out of ‘show season’. Resonant has worked with this family-run business since the idea began and, after 3 years of growth, a new website was recently launched, using Shopify to improve the mobile user experience.
MANAGING ONLINE GROWTH
The success of a specialist online cottage lettings agency in the Borders was presenting its MD with escalating complexity as both bookings and the number of properties grew. Faced with demanding clients on both the supply and customer sides, Andy worked with them on a broad-based growth management plan that included website improvements, changes to their bookings systems, clearer contractual obligations and even the recruitment of an experienced manager.
